A short welcome from Headteacher, Megan Watts

Christ the King Catholic Primary is a successful and happy school where children learn and thrive in a positive environment. We aim to encourage individuality, creativity and positive attitudes assisting our children to not only achieve their potential but also, to ‘reach for the stars’. As a Catholic school we offer our children the opportunity to grow as young people and encourage them to develop a closer relationship with God in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect.

Ultimately, our school aspires to equip our children with leadership qualities and a social responsibility to their world of tomorrow.  We aim to encourage and support the personal growth of each individual through living in our community, which is rooted in Christ and inspired by the Gospels.

We are proud of our school and would be delighted to show you around and share with you our enthusiasm and our children’s achievements.

The Admissions Authority for Our School

Overview of the Diocese of Nottingham

Christ the King Voluntary Academy is under the Trusteeship of the Diocese of Nottingham and belong to the Nottingham Diocesan family of schools. They are founded by and are part of the Catholic Church and seek at all times to be a witness to Jesus Christ. Religious Education and worship are in accordance with the teachings and doctrines of the Catholic Church. This does not affect the right of parents or carers who are not of the faith of these schools to apply for and to be considered for places. We ask all parents or carers applying for a place to respect this ethos and its importance to the school community.
