This morning, our children took part in a meaningful Lent pilgrimage, learning about the Stations of the Cross and reflecting on this important time in the Church’s year. 🙏✨
They showed such respect and reverence throughout, taking time to listen, reflect, and understand each station.
We are incredibly proud of their behaviour and the thoughtful way they engaged in this special journey of faith. 🌟

A huge well done to our fantastic Dodgeball team who came 3rd in the Derbyshire Dodgeball Competition! 🎉
They truly played their socks off, showing brilliant teamwork, determination, and skill throughout the competition while representing our school so proudly. 💪✨
One of the coaches even commented on their positive attitudes and honesty, which makes us even prouder. What a wonderful example of great sportsmanship! 🌟

📚🌍 Celebrating World Book Day! 🌍📚
What a wonderful day we’ve had celebrating World Book Day across the whole school! 🎉✨
The children enjoyed sharing their favourite stories, taking part in fun reading activities - including Tom The Storyteller, Oracy Drama Activities and an Escape Room in Year 3, and celebrating the joy that books bring to our lives. From imaginative costumes and a performance from our KS2 Choir, to exciting discussions about much-loved characters, it has been a day full of creativity and a real love of reading. Thank you to everybody involved📖💫

Year 3 brought scripture to life in their learning about The Feeding of the 5000! 📖✨
The children became Scripture Detectives, exploring the Bible story closely and asking thoughtful questions. They then baked their own bread, made a basket, and carefully added their bread and fish to represent the scripture.🧺💛
