Welcome to Our PTA – Friends of Christ the King.
At Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy, our school motto is something that all members of our PTA embrace.
Our School Mission
We can and we will follow in Jesus’ footsteps by:
Loving God and loving others.
Respecting each other with good manners and thoughtful behaviour.
Keeping hope in our hearts as we work to create a better world.
Forgiving others and trying to see the best in everyone and everything.
Serving others and achieving together with hard work and prayer.
Showing compassion through kind words, selfless acts and care for our world.
Being grateful for our different gifts and talents.
Working tirelessly for justice, helping those in need.
Friends of Christ the King strive to hold the school motto and mission closely in our hearts and minds as we ensure that our children’s educational experiences are enhanced alongside providing various opportunities for accessing enrichment and personal development experiences that will help them to be the best that they can be.
Our school values are lived out as virtues and these are recognised and celebrated throughout every stage of our fundraising events, creating a culture of love, respect, hope, forgiveness, service, gratitude, compassion and justice.
Friends of Christ The King
Our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Friends of Christ the King brings the school motto, mission and values to life by creating a welcoming community of volunteers who plan, organise and run a wealth of school events where parents, school staff and our extended Christ the King community all work together to fundraise for essential educational resources/ school environment improvements and to enhance the lives of the children by opening up opportunities for both educational and recreational experiences, creating a strong sense of community amongst them and their families whilst giving them some fabulous memories of their time at CTK.
Through fundraising and teamwork, the PTA helps to make our school an even better place to learn and grow. Our efforts reflect our commitment to service, kindness, and working together.
